As the name suggests, there are only two functions of a turnstile—in or out So who is coming in or out of your team this week?
What are your trade plans?ELEVATOR TO THE PENTHOUSE SUITE (LOW BREAKEVENS)
MASSIMO AMBROSIO -82
OLIVER DEMPSEY -71
JACK CARROLL -69
COLBY McKERCHER -68
JEREMY SHARPE -63ELEVATOR TO THE BASEMENT(HIGH BREAKEVENS)
DARCY MacPHERSON 210
MASON WOOD 199
JAMES SICILY 195
TOM MITCHELL 193
JORDON DAWSON 189
CLAYTON OLIVER 168This is moving around as teams that didn’t play in round zero play their third game this week so prices will move, If you missed out on one of the above rookies now is the time to grab a bargain before they go up in price.
Also some juicy premos to keep an eye on as they drop in price over the next couple of weeks. To help you make your call -a selection of —
BUY (YOU NEED THESE QUICKLY)
HOLD ( MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES)
SELL (STINKING UP OUR TEAM ) BUY BUTTERS Even with his light frame he goes in hard Courageous but super talented ,just get him in nowJACKSON Originally was chosen as a ruck backup to our R1 and R2 but how things have changed with the Darcy injury
SERONG With Green the best mid going around. He just has a weaker bunch helping him so more points for serong
ENGLISH Games best ruck and will go nuts against WCE this week .Watch out for a double ton hereHOLD
NAICOS I put him here to convince those silly enough to trade him DONT The kid’s a champ already
L D U- A preseason must have and still could be. with the emergence of POWELL and WARDLAW he has been robbed of some CBA’s Stick with him.
FYFE Always going to be a trap and a sub risk but a decent stepping stone to a prem
SICILY Included as a hold even though he could be rubbed out Magic to watch and holds that hawk defence together Could easily be a BUYSELL
LLOYD The seagull, has dropped off significantly recently as the swans go for youth. No longer in our plans GREENE We have come to expect better from Toby not entirely his fault as the Giants mids go from strength to strength
TOM MITCHELL
The former pig is really struggling. He has had no real impact .Needs time in the magoos to find form COFFIELD An unusual entry into sell as he is set to miss plenty. I put him there as a warning that Coffield still has value for rounds 4 and
five as a loop he plays late and with the byes could be handy Sell him ROUND SIXAS PROMISED ENGLISH is simply the best AFL player for SUPERCOACH and the earlier you get him the better. Of 23 games he scored 19 tons and 2 -90’s Remember last year when not having him didn’t help us’ This is how I got him in— First I identified ROWELL as my worst prem with a high B E
Selling Rowell netted me 600 k— next was to sell Hall and Lohman my worst rookies netting me 270k and to make a ruck space GRUNDY GOES netting $490k for a total of 1360 k This was spent wisely with 715 to ENGLISH 200 to MCKERCHER and 310 to POWELL and a BANK of 135k BEST CASH COWNOW MY BEST CASH COW and I have mentioned him already . I have followed him for the last few years First two he had niggling injuries and sadly played out of position at defence, not his go. His best position is mids as he hunts the ball fiercely Has almost taken over the key role at North attending 65% of CBA’s R1 POWELL is the man He will make 58k next week and plenty more to come GET HIM IN EARLY
thanks to TRIG for all his help with this edition of THE TURNSTILEMarch 27, 2024 at 10:09 pm #1130Russty_ParticipantGreat stuff Neil, appreciate the effort mate, I couldn’t not start with English this year, he’s just the man these days, would’ve loved to have started Marshall as well but funds wouldn’t allow, Trades this week are ….
Young to Ryan
Wines to Mckercher
T.Berry to PowellWines has been going ok , just ok, not really keeper material like I was hoping, same obviously for Young who has looked lacking confidence and ball use has been atrocious… Give me a real premo anyday!
Started at 90k last week after the double whammy of Reid and Gibcus onfield and 200 points left on the pine…clawed back to 56k and looking fwd to see how high I can get from here.
Cheers mate, thanks for getting this up, and good luck to everyone for this week. 🙂March 27, 2024 at 10:32 pm #1132trigshp_adminKeymaster# great ins Russty all good RYAN MCKERCHER and POWELL DOn’t know why the type keeps slipping about in the article towards the end WORK in progress me and computers . Hope these 3 get you further up the board
March 27, 2024 at 10:43 pm #1135TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantCan’t believe how many teams started without McKercher!
Similar role to Sheezel last year, key distributor out of the backline key cog of Northball. Precision by foot.
Better late than never I guess. 😉
March 27, 2024 at 10:49 pm #1137Russty_ParticipantI think it was his 55 or similar in the praccy match that spooked me Trigga, 200k is a lot for a rookie, but in hindsight, he is worth it haha
March 27, 2024 at 10:53 pm #1138Russty_ParticipantNo worries Neil, all good mate, you and Trig are doing a great job keeping this thing going, much appreciation to both of you, I know it’s always a lot more work and effort than people think to make something and then maintain it.
March 27, 2024 at 10:54 pm #1139TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantNot sure whether to trade Dawson to
Serong
Ryan
Stewart
Trac
English – gave me a bit of food for thought there NDDOr trade Young to NWM
Love the article by the way NDD , what a gr8 name.
March 27, 2024 at 10:57 pm #1142Russty_ParticipantCan you afford Dawson to Serong and Young to Ryan Trigga?
March 27, 2024 at 11:05 pm #1143trigshp_adminKeymasterTrig Would you really consider TRAC great player but fails too often at s/c AND RUSSTY remember TREV and FSC if we can be half as good as him and his videos etc WE will be kicking goals TRIGS gonna wave his magic crayon and pretty the site up Out of my paygrade but hopefully the regular items will catch on Easy to find us now and a super easy site to navigate
March 27, 2024 at 11:17 pm #1145Russty_ParticipantIt’d be good to see Neil, I know there are WordPress tutorials available.
Would like to see the Text Left aligned, the ability to like and reply to an individual’s post. Not sure if all that extra stuff costs extra money or not? I’d be willing to look into it for you too if you like, these things always take time and research.
Email me about it if you like.March 27, 2024 at 11:23 pm #1146TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantRust not if I bring in Carroll as well – too good of $$ making machine with Walsh out to miss out on.
As it is best 18 might have to give Pink a miss as a def rookie and hope one pops in the next couple of weeks.
Being a saint man Schoenmaker a chance to debut soon?
March 27, 2024 at 11:28 pm #1147trigshp_adminKeymasterThanks Russty I got a manual with the site but it’s complicated YES left aligned makes sense is black or white clearer? Word press was lek’s original system if I remember and was good for a while Not sure even how to left align Perfect year for TRIG:S HAPPY ENDING THIS YEAR with plenty of free exposure also SURVIVOR must have a word with DEREK
March 27, 2024 at 11:31 pm #1148trigshp_adminKeymasterTRIG isn’t CURTAIN due back and a good rookie little bit expensive plus he has BPP
March 27, 2024 at 11:54 pm #1149Russty_ParticipantIt’d be something about TEXT or formatting Text Neil, Black on white is fine I think, white on black would be weird.
See if there’s anything about Liking and or replying too maybe.March 27, 2024 at 11:56 pm #1150Russty_Participantnot sure about Shoenmaker Trig, could be close to a call up I mean there’s plenty of defenders out, so they should. Howard due back round 6 or 7
