And we are off
Round zero kicked off on the weekend.
But right off the bat what is that? Round zero. I know we are trying to grow the game nation wide but don’t think it needs it seems to flourishing without Round zero. Didn’t the lions win the flag this year? AFL in Qld seems to be going ok to me. And we have gather round in SA rd 5.. But I digress.Let’s revisit – this is not a comprehensive look at the matches and the results as there are numerous articles out there that do that.
This is our take something unique to THP so a brief summary (sometimes play on words) of each game.
Hawks v Swans.
Where there’s a Will there’s a Day. Wow. Talk about starting with a bang..if this guy can stay on the park he will cause a world of hurt for the opposition.
Loved the frill necks in the crowd as hawks had Moyd Leek on the ground. A big leek all over Grundy. Meek? I don’t think so.Giants v Pies.
Speaking of announcing yourself. How about the game from In like Finn? Forget the million dollar man he is the $17 million dollar man and played like it on the weekend, his burst from stoppage time and time again was a sight to behold as the orange tsunami swamped all in its path.Cold pies? I think so.
Nick was off more than on kinda like the team. Hopefully Dan the man gives them some drive this week..Final Thoughts.
Rd 1 is about to kick off where all teams get to have a kick. Bit star crossed though as the emergency ward is over flowing.Yes Trig ,round 0 done and dusted ,hopefully never to be seem again. Couple things I heard that haven’t been reported,surely these experts are more up to date than me,but I heard Daicos’injury is worse than reported ,more to come and wait for it,Gawn has a broken thumb,keep an eye on him as he is wearing a small thumb brace at training ,also more to come,after captain’s run .Wouldn’t write the swans off just yet but the Maggie’s are totally different .They do look slow and old don’t they .let’s have some good scores cheers lads
