R.BICE SYD a dour defender overlooked last start My next rookie in
L ASHCROFT has the vest this week so he can wait expensive as well

S.DRAPER ADELAIDE they love this kid over there and with good cause consider strongly
M.JEFFERSON melb been around for 3 years without impressing. strong pack mark and good boot but not a chance
H. LANFORD melb Number 6 draftee and our best price scares me off
X.LINDSAY melb another left footed demon with as good a delivery as it gets but a winger so no
A. JOHNSON melb nearly wrote GRINTER here hard nosed fwd who is more than capable rucking selected to to help GAWN YES YES YES

A.REID WC more than capable ruck/fwd a gift R 3 who plays
M.REID FREO probably the most gifted youngster in the draft a strong bench option
A VERY LENGTHY ROOKIE LIST so choose wisely Many of these higher priced rookies like Langford will be slow to reward us .Where possible I avoid them .Very few make it Harley REID and MCKELCHER are two that have ==== good scoring coaches NDD-

KeymasterWhat a way to lose .Plenty of if’s why we should have won but unfortunately the dees lost. Good points—- Lindsay is something else ,a surprise ,Johnson was good also .. Supercoach was a disaster barely getting 2k ,however only one poor score,Neale ,but plenty of 80’s. Correction time with an eye on Daicos after his bye .Gator had the right idea ,fund a bank ready for fading your worst player for Daics in round 5. I am looking at getting the rookies off fwd and def,so SDK looks a target The good part was I chose every cash cow except Hall ,one to watch, How did we all go NDD

ParticipantNot to bad average score I think for the round 2100ish.
But I stuffed up the flex. I thought it was a flex for a certain position only like to be a fwd flex your lowest fwd score was replaced so had garcia as my flex to cover mid and fwd but apparently it is your lowest score out of the 22. So obviously I would have had another player as flex and Garcia on deck instead of a rookie. Woukd have pushed me up over 2200. Ahh well lives and learn.
Lindsay looked gr8..will give him another week and grab next week.
All other rooks performed how expected except leake who was stuck fwd all game. TSA a bit under whelming. Pendles 2.0 went ok kicking 4 against the cats on slaught..

ParticipantA fair start to the season for me with a score of 2084. My big letdown was Neale’s 45 and the PPepper score. I picked PP as as he was in the leadership group and he would be pretty assured of a spot however I did expect a higher score from him than his measly 18. He gets one more week to redeem himself. The 2 rookies I missed out on were Ashcroft (took him out when the news of sub came out) and Lindsey, who had been in my team for most of the preseason as M9 but took him out on Friday when teams came out to get some cash for playing rookies. No Smith in my team is a worry but will wait to see what he does this week before I try to get him in.

KeymasterHi KAT nice score first up’ Many coaches took NEALE and SPP so you were not alone. I think you are taking the wise call giving them another week but not for a panicking NDD . out goes Neale and Garcia for Smith and Dale .Not saying we should do that but it does give me another keeper in Dale who is borderline top 8 defender ,I could go Tom Stewart for the same price or SDK for 150k less ,lets call it the DAICOS factor,it will be super hard to get him and Bont shortly .Good luck KAT NDD

ParticipantIf GWS did not have the bye this week I would have done Neale and PP for Callaghan and Smith but the bye puts the kabosh on that. Still might get rid of PP for Ashcroft or Lindsey so I can focus on Smith next week if needed. My defence line is OK with Roberts D5 and only one mid onfield so OK there. My forward line is my weakness
