Derek
ParticipantGrundy’s score was looking so bad at one stage, was thinking of leaving him on bench, swing Jackson to ruck and play Wilson or Cadman.
71 was a pass.

ParticipantI have two positions I still haven’t decided.
M4: Butters or Rozee
Butters twisted his ankle in the practice game, apparently the same ankle that he has hurt previously. Rozee might get less midfield time with Wines and JHF.
F4: Fyfe or Harmes
I dodged Fyfe last year, but is this years Fyfe in better shape? The WBD website had the Dogs football manager predicting Harmes will be the AFL’s ‘recruit of the season’, and with Macrae not playing he should get some midfield minutes.
Any suggestions?
My gut says Rozee and Harmes and leave $80k in bank

KeymasterYES I sure do Derek Like you are connected to the swans thru your son I am deeply into the doggies thru my brother ,a coterie member ,sponsor and knows all the coaches so I gleam loads off him and HARMES yep you are spot on mate ,they love him truth is we should never have got rid of him or jordon or Grundy for that matter but getting back to Harmsey his beauty is his versatility, back ,mids brilliant tagger and forward and this suggests good JS you wont go wrong with him mate

KeymasterPlans flying around left right and centre but mine is simple don’t start like last year 102 k after round 1 never recovered. russty myself and Gator had our worst years ever Gator was telling me he had 1800 R1 last year ,his worst ever no lairds as captain or Stewart going down early and more no thanks though I must admit I took HEENEY NDD

ParticipantOff to a flyer NDD with the never again Heeney, Did you have the VC on Naicos?
March 16, 2024 at 12:24 pm #932Derek
ParticipantI should have started Heeney. Just love watching him

ParticipantDerek.
I think either Port gun will be fine.
I’ve gone with Butters and wines coupled with Bont, Dawson and green.
Up fwd I’ve taking a gamble on one of your boys McKenzie with day to miss first up. Should float through the guts.
Would have loved to roll with Jordon but Heeney already occupies the swans fwd position..

ParticipantDerek.
To me starting niacos was a no brainer.
VC first 3 rounds.
135 rd 1. Tick.Worry about his bye when we get there but it is 4 rounds away.
I figure what u make in pts first 4 games will offset a rookie being on field rd 5 or could even do a sneaky sideways see where we are at after rd 4.

ParticipantWho would you put on field Sharp or Clark or Take Roberts 69 points
March 16, 2024 at 12:48 pm #937gator59
ParticipantYes Trigga we’d be silly not to take Naicos 135. Was thinking of gambling on the Bont or the big Pom
March 16, 2024 at 12:48 pm #938TRIGGA HAPPY
ParticipantI’ve taken Roberts 69 as he was on field.
Back in one of them think they will score similar I wouldn’t worry about starting a non player just to get Roberts score.
Just threw a coin came up heads which was sharp. 😄
Get the $$ generation going.

ParticipantGator.
Wow that is a big gamble for 15-20 more pts.
As don’t think the other two will score over 160 bont esp with the melb midfield lots of mouths to feed.
Reckon he will score around the sane as Naicos.
March 16, 2024 at 1:01 pm #940Derek
ParticipantI was thinking the Swans would have clamped Daicos a bit more. In the end 135 was on the low side, he was 80 at half time
March 16, 2024 at 1:05 pm #941Derek
ParticipantMy midfield similar, have Steele instead of Wines.
Mackenzie is all class and has got the nod ahead of Ward and Hustwaite for Day’s midfield role. Should be a good pick.
What do you think about Fisher?
