JUST SAYIN
This is our open forum where we want all the community involved. We want our site to be interactive amongst our members.
Instead of just sitting in the background go ahead and ask a question or raise an observation. The floor is yours
As a community we can then respond OVER TO YOU__April 3, 2024 at 6:01 pm #1267trigshp_adminKeymasterAND I will kick us off this week
The new DPP’s will kick in round 6 and I have been fortunate enough to borrow Gator’s abacus to crunch some numbers . The key here is to get an extra DPP position that player must have played 35 % of their time in that new position .It must be remembered that TRAC missed the cut last year having played mid 34 % of his time mid ,so you can see it is very tight and some could be a close call, thankfully for Gator’s abacus. There are close to 60 players who may change but I have listed the SUPERCOACH relevant players only NIK MARTIN M/D
RILEY BONNER M/D
MAX HOLMES M/D
M ROBERTS M/D
C McKERCHER M/D
Z.FISHER F/D
A.SEXTON F/D
B.KHAMIS F/D
E.HOLLANDS M/F
R.SANDERS M/F
I.HEENEY M/F
H.YOUNG D/M
T.POWELL F/M
M.AMBROSIO D/M
O.DEMPSEY F/M
H.GALLAGHER M/F
There are many defensive options there so make your changes wisely this week cheers NDDApril 3, 2024 at 6:19 pm #1268trigshp_adminKeymasterA useful tool when making our calls is the VFL REPORT .these players did well enough for us to consider —

T.ADAMS 21 disposals 13 tackles
R.LOBB 15 disposals 5 goals 20 h/o lots to advantage was at that game

JUST SAYINApril 3, 2024 at 6:37 pm #1269trigshp_adminKeymasterJUST SAYIN Roberts and McKercher becoming Defense solves one or two problems. I am holding Howes even if the dees dump him after his poor score, highly unlikely though with Hore out
April 3, 2024 at 6:43 pm #1270TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantHaven’t really considered DPP but some food for thought for sure.
Roberts and McKercher be handy in def as we have limited or injured rookies back there. Maybe will wait for the Dpp’s instead of bringing in a rookie who may get dropped next week or scores a 30.
Are they at the start or end of rd 6?Do you have to play a minimum games b4 gaining DPP as Hollands will only have played 3 games at the end of Rd 5.
April 3, 2024 at 6:51 pm #1271TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantLet’s take a walk back down memory lane and revisit the very first post under Just Sayin’
This was it.
Are the blues cursed?
Rd 0 – Kiddy Coleman – backman – ACL – out for season
Rd 1 – Josh Gibcus – backman – ACL – out for season
Rd 3 – Nth Melbourne?Coincidence or something more?
I tell you what Nth can ill afford to lose another backman but if it happens again on Good Friday then we may just start to believe.
What happened Good Friday?
I know he wasn’t a backman but CCJ did rupture his achilles and is also out for the season!
Insert eerie music.
The CURSE is growing legs.Watch out Freo.

April 4, 2024 at 3:44 pm #1283TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantHere’s one that maybe none of us have considered
If Big H keeps being the backup ruckman could he get Fwd/Ruck DPP status after Rd 6?
April 5, 2024 at 8:18 pm #1311trigshp_adminKeymasterFor those coaches thinking about a cheap DAWSON !
DAWSON IS___4th worst kick rating
2nd worst for direct turnover
5 Clangers per game
Crows are last for kick ratingApril 6, 2024 at 11:10 am #1318TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantWhat has happened to the goal umpires?
Every since that Sydney goal against Adelaide last year they are shit scared to make a call.I can think of 3 incidents in the last week alone.
Port v Bombers.
Called for a review of touched by the a player on field. Fair dinkum you could have driven a Mack truck through the gap. There was about a metre of space between his hand and the ball.Demons v Adelaide.
Just want to make sure ball didn’t hit the post. The gap was huge! You could have fitted two sherrins in the gap.Blues v North.
Just want to check if ball hit post. Ball cannoned into post with so much force nearly did a lethal leeI mean cmon make a call and stop wasting our time!!
Review the tight ones but geez do what you are paid to do.

April 6, 2024 at 12:24 pm #1321trigshp_adminKeymasterJUST SAYIN Wonder if the Collingwood fans would agree way back in 79. Remember Wayne Harmes Hitting the ball back when it was out of bounds. Of course you do Trig It setup a carlton goal .Was it too far around for modern tech. NDD
April 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm #1322TRIGGA HAPPYParticipantIf Higgins was in the other day then Harmes tapped that back fron the goal square! 😂
April 6, 2024 at 1:17 pm #1324trigshp_adminKeymasterYou would be pleased to know Harmes whacked the ball mid air way in side play/ Just testing my memory about Libba and Rocca but too far back
