Great topic to open JUST SAYIN . As a dee follower and around the club a lot,though not as much now ,I get asked this a lot . Believe it or not he was Ist picked ,not Clarry, Maxxy or Trac but Gus . Like Pendles at Collingwood loved by all Can play defence all mids and forward and I said PLAY nearly won a brownlow couple of times . I keep thinking he returns but wishful thinking there. As I said FIRST PICKED by a street just like the DOc also, at the blues or do I rate him too high?
Yeah Gus was a special player but does surprise me 1st picked. Big call over big Max.
Doch is a similar heart and soul player who team mates just love to run out onto the ground with and just lifts the team.
Was devo when he did his ACL again as he has been through and won so many health battles.
Hopefully plays again but wouldn’t blame him for calling time as everyone has their breaking point.
A true champion on and off the field. 💙
