    PANIC STATIONS ROUND 4
Has DAMIEN HARDWICK panicked with his 6 changes ? Is it time for us to panic this round ? Well not for me. It’s time for restraint after the last few rounds of correction. Shortly we will have access to fallen premos and the all important new DPP’s ROBERTS and McKERCHER likely new defence members. THP will only mention SUPERCOACH relevant players

    KEY RETURNING PLAYERS

DUSTY MARTIN the champ returns .Think I will sit back and wait
    TAYLOR ADAMS
JASON HORNE-FRANCIS returns after 2 weeks off
    WILL SETTERFIELD most underrated player
ED.RICHARDS could be our defence solution
    B.HUMPHREY

KEY PLAYERS HEADING TO THE SHOWERS

    M.KING
F.MAGINNISS obvious a role for him here NAICOS ?
SEXTON a complete surprise here but a handy loop
    T.BROCKMAN returns from concussion protocols
    D.RAMPE

ROOKIE RUMBLES no real rookies but I will be watching B.HUMPHREYS closely

Well there it is fellow coaches an ideal week to hold back unless you need a cash making rookie or a clear cut fallen premos .

Well decided to take Neils advice in the turnstiles writeup (he is ranking highly so obviously knows what he is doing and what’s the point of being a member of this site if I don’t heed the great advice given) and bring in Powell. Was very tempted by Miller at his low price but would have only left 2 spots in my mids to fill and that is where my more reliable rookies are so decided to bring a forward in as that line badly needs fixing. Hoping Powell will be a keeper as a fwd6. Good luck to everyone this week.
Tricky one for me in picking a VC this week as my loop plays early so taken a punt with Rozee, hoping he can turn things around with Wines out. Only other option was Sheezel

Geez clarry looks a shadow of himself at the moment. Really struggling.

Decided not to VC Max as o’Brien normally goes alright against him.

Coulda been a huge mistake. 🫣

Hi Kat Powell is a solid pick I planned it to bring him in for his first rise then cull him for Green Powell is next in line now

Trig talk about Clarry I would like to know his skinfolds looks chubby again I knew him when I was up in Shep and he played for Mooroopna cats .A super talented kid but very chubby Melbourne plucked him out of no where.Perhaps Bergo (OUR FORMER HEALTH AND FITNESS GURU) leaving for the crows has had an effect on Clarry, still a great player

Think Clarry will come good later in the year. With the summer he had, he was never going to come back match fit. He was behind the 8 ball to start the season and who really knows what was going on with him, but it didn’t sound good so his head would not have been in a good place.
He also hurt his hand during the week, I think I saw reported, so that would have hindered him last night. With Melbourne going so well despite all the bad publicity their club has had he hopefully will come good in the run to finals. Might be a good cheap pickup for later in the year but for now, yes he looks a little chubby (not politically correct to say that these days but oh well) and relying on talent alone

Still on TRAC though mate, two wins in SA, against two SA teams with lets just say “hostile crowds” is MASSIVE!

Set your season up beautifully 😉

NDD do you need my abacus back to count how many times BILLINGS will stuff up

Or do you want it for how many oranges he has to cut up

The Dees have really picked up a bargain there with him

If the Dees are really serious about winning a Flag I hope he’s not in your plans

You’ll probably need the abacus for how many remotes you put through your TV

Gator The dees want their bag of twistees back that it cost for Billings. You guys should be happy, you got Kent from us .Maybe a swap Kent for Billings and keep the twistees

A bird in hand mate…129 is a decent enough C score, hey speaking of ex Saints going to the Dees, did Dunstan ever get a senior game there? Is he still hanging around somewhere?

Ahhh Petracca. Love watching him play and like having him in my SC team. Hopefully soon after his bye although have to find a way to get Big Maxxy in too. How good would he have looked in Saints colors instead of that wasted pick on McCartin. Billings is another of those wasted high-draft picks. Glad he is Melbourne’s problem now

I reckon you know what’s wrong with Clarry mate. just got to work thru it. He at least is trying just that fraction slow to the ball Team mates still love him Russty.
